ISRO has successfully launched Chandrayaan 2



 Chandrayaan-2, India's second mission on the moon, was not done on July 15 due to any technical difficulties. Now this mission can be done at the end of this month. ISRO has corrected the fault and is preparing for the launch of the mission by the end of July. The launch of the Chandrayaan-2, GSLV Mk-III rocket, was to be launched on July 15, 2.51am. According to Guruprasad, associate director of ISRO, some technical flaws were found before launch in the launch vehicle system. Therefore, the launch of Chandrayaan-2 as a precaution was stopped. At the same time it was not possible to fix that malfunction and launch. For this reason the launch was postponed for a new date.

                                             

After the first successful Lunar mission-Chandrayaan 1 of ISRO, Chandrayaan-2 will hit the South Pole. Chandrayaan-1 has more than 3400 orbits around the Moon. It was operational for 312 days till 29 August 2009. Rs 978 crore Chandrayaan-2 will take 54 days to reach the moon. Talking about Chandrayaan 2 mission, it got approval on September 18, 2008. About 8 years later, the test was started in 2016 for this mission. ISRO had announced this year about the launch of Chandrayaan 2 in May. For this, the timeline of 9 July to 16 July was fixed. The special feature of this mission is that it will have an orbiter, a lander (whose name has been named Vikram) and a rover (named as Pragyan). The main objective of this mission is to make soft land and study its surface on the Moon. This mission will be the next stop for the earlier Moon mission.
